Missouri voters protected their citizen-led ballot measure process, dealing a blow to efforts to undermine voters’ ability to take their rights into their own hands.

My family was off and on this program my entire childhood. Which is how I knew to apply in college so that I could *checks notes* eat food. I even mention the hoops they made people jump through in my first full-length script. The least we could do is feed people in this raggedy country.

I worked at Disney a while ago. Do you know why theme parks are so safe? Because OOSHA reps can walk the track on any ride at any time and any safety violation they see is a $10,000 fine. Each. Theme parks are not safe because the company cares. They're safe because it's cheaper to comply.

Turns out that food companies were only checking their food because the government told them to, which is exactly why we need government regulations.
