My old church in Eden Prairie MN, Wooddale, blocked me on IG because I asked how they were supporting their community where people are being terrorized by ICE. I’m honestly not surprised, because that kind of behavior is why I stopped going there in the first place!
So apparently all the big Evangelical mega churches around the Twin Cities have started this thing where they’re praying at 7:14 because of the 2 Chronicles 7:14. That’s one that shows up heavily in Christian Nationalist circles. But notice how much they focusing on staying in and praying.
Did all these fascists read about what's happened to every fascist government throughout history and go "Nah, I can do it better. That won't happen to me." Did all these mega-billionaires who exploits people for wealth go "Nah, I can do it better. That won't happen to me." I'm sure they did, too.
