This couple came legally. They applied for asylum before their visas expired, wanting to do it all by the books. After six months, they applied for work permits to stay afloat, passing background checks. They worked legally and paid taxes while government delay dragged on. Then ICE came for them.

Trump's rollback of air pollution rules is really bad news for communities who live near the gas plants being built to power data centers. It's especially bad news for Texans, where state regulators are fast-tracking approvals at an "alarming" pace.

Maybe Hassan was a uniquely weak candidate, or maybe Michigan GOP voters saw an Arabic name on their ballots and ran for the hills. Either way, this loss reflects more poorly on Trump than anyone, and suggests that he is not the kingmaker he claims to be.

Let’s level set. MICHIGAN is a must-win if we want to flip the Senate. A word caution: This race was tighter than many predicted. El-Sayed needs Stevens supporters in the general, so it’s not smart strategy to keep them angry. Welcome them. Focus on issues. Time is short, so healing must be quick

That’s one of the things that is blowing my mind. l don’t think I ever saw a poll that showed El-Sayed beating the Republican. I could be wrong but I don’t remember seeing one. I saw several polls with Stevens beating the republican. When your only goal is to beat democrats that’s a problem.

I saw a poll from Michigan showing almost 70% of Black ppl are voting for Stevens. Why? My guess it's because it polls show her beating the Republican. Black ppl are pragmatic voters. There is no reason the Dems shouldn't win the Senate. But between Platner and El-Syed it's gonna be tight.

With the people’s power to effect change on the line, Missouri voters showed up to defend their rights. And in November, when abortion rights are on the ballot, they’ll do it again.
