Reminder that "don't speak ill of the dead" doesn't mean "don't describe them accurately" or "don't quote what they actually wrote in a major publication to show what they were like", it just means don't lie about them.

These people literally do not have brains. Of course they don't want to give up AI. Four years ago they must have been eating paint, tying their shoes together, and trying to force the square block through the circular hole.

The problem with using an LLM for some narrow use case where you think it’s actually appropriate is that you’re using it in the context of a UX system designed to make you expand your usage and change your views of what is “appropriate”
