This is NOT about preservation. They are only doing this to harvest pre 2020's books to use for more training data. They have chosen this method that DESTROYS the book on purpose, because it is faster and cheaper. They know time is limited before society and the bubble catches up with them.

I long for the day I can be in my own space with less concern for volume or noise because I desperately want to relearn my viola from my teen years. It's been 10 years since I played it proper and a lot of the muscle memory is gone... i was 1st chair for so many years so it hurts my soul a bit haha
How comics actually work: some pages take an hour and some pages take eight hours and they're not always the ones you'd think. There are sometimes entire weeks taken up by research that MUST be completed before you can progress. And you also must account for several days lost to the Horrors

Contrast is actually really important for appeal. Not just contrast between your characters and their timing, but also within the scenes, sequences and overall season. If you pump everything up to 12/10 right out of the gate you have to stay there and people expect you to keep going.

('dialog is not acting' is a refrain) So many people with a love of characters make the mistake of only focusing on those 'fun' aspects and gloss over everything else that communicates just as much!
Have made some GREAT progress in the comic clean-up these last 2 weeks I am STOKED even when working on the stage I enjoy the least. I cannot WAIT to actually call chapter 1 DONE for REAL!! Until then, update on my overall progress, and a peek at a panel from chapter 2;

I think I'm finally feeling more like my "normal" self that I haven't been in...basically 4 years? now that i've adjusted to my medication! Been getting a LOT of work done on the comic (1/2 of chapter 1 is *done!*) but *so* much i need to take a screen break and read a paper book for my poor eyes

A lot of people don’t realize the dust bowl wasn’t a natural phenomenon. It happened when agrobusiness interests dramatically transformed the plains without regard for drought, and created vicious dust storms that choked whole families to death. That’s what I think of when I read about data centers.
i personally think creatives benefit from talking and thinking way more about things they *like.* understanding what you like and why gives you a direction to take your work in; focusing on what you don’t like makes a tiny negative dent in the universe of your taste at best and limits you at worst
