The magnanimous stretches of the foggy Appalachians that fill your lungs with dreams, the grinning joy of friends and loved ones. I will continue to plant my feet and cradle the grief until the noise of the marginalized is heard.
Another aspect of Carved Jesus, Aflame is my desire to express southern queerness, a voice that isn't heard often, and also from a perspective of love for the land. the south is always described as a place to flee. Many can't and shouldn't have to. My desire is to help heal this soil

it's been immensely satisfying to achieve this level of print quality and accuracy to the original work on our limited resources, truly pushing the boundaries of DIY physical media. you simply won't find comics like this anywhere else
