I love it when people try to reassure me that winning awards doesn't mean anything for sales or advances etc it's all emotional. man do you think I'm this field to make money haha

SDCC 2026 would be the 20th one I've covered. It's very curious to see what people actually gravitate towards in terms of comics journalism coverage versus the past. Even just since 2023, it's changed tremendously.
