Working out how to balance what is required of you with how to get what you want/need out of a situation is what most of life is about.

I know there are a dizzying number of layers upon layers of inequity in the Everlee Wihongi story But can I also gesture in the direction of white, sitting MPs who have admitted to "trying" drugs and don't have a criminal record

Everlee Wihongi is supposedly being held by US immigration because she didn't declare a previous conviction for possession of marijuana in New Zealand. A declaration that was not required.
