I have no clue why it was on that slide or who put it there, and every member of the crew I worked with is 100% against AI. Every aspect of the animation is handcrafted by real artists and I hope that people don’t use this slide as a reason to detract from how much love and labor went into the film.

Absolutely no AI whatsoever in the art / design process!

I really hate this, on a number of levels. The skill that's showcased in the movie, in this craft, is HANDMADE, 2D animation. RAW, HUMAN EFFORT. I want to put my faith in such an expression of art, craft, skill, as organic. And bluntly, I'm tired of being let down like this.

I have just discovered there is a channel on my tv that is called AMBIENT THUNDERSTORMS

Kids need/deserve traumatic films. Films that show death or lasting consequences that aren't resolved almost instantly. Fear, anger, grief and frustration should be part of kids movies. Kids arent stupid, they feel big emotions just like adults, they deserve to see those experiences reflected back.

Gurren Lagann is by far and away best anime.

Gurren Lagann is correct about its central conceit that the entirety of the power of the human spirit is ignited at the intersection of hope, belief, faith & trust. And that despair not only limits imagination but is also a spiritual death that leaves us helpless when facing humanity’s adversaries.

I know im goin on about this a lot but please contact your senators about opposing KOSA and the KIDS Act. Please make friends and family aware of how this will effect them and their privacy.
