Tried something new today: I bought comp books & pens for all my students in my upper div. class. I gave them 15min after each film to just journal about what they saw - it didn't necessarily have to be about the film so long as it addressed memories/emotions evoked by the film. No phones. Physical.

Interlibrary Loan has come through with another book I probably won’t read. (I *did* read Ferrara’s memoir earlier this year.)

I would rank the three films in the Criterion Blu-ray Bunuel set in the order their descriptions appear on this page. I liked all of them and feel like my journey with this filmmaker is just begging, even though I'd seen some of his stuff decades ago and just didn't have much response to it then.

Had significantly more emotional experience with Coyote vs. Acme than with Camp Miasma

Turned off the radio with the Nats up 4-1 going into the 8th. I woke up to - OF COURSE - a 5-4 Nats loss. 8th inning guy walked three batters in a row. Just another day in Nats fandom.

In the mysterious ticketing system that is Kanopy, I have just used four tickets to watch ERUPCJA. Pretty good!
