Gillick competence should apply to trans youth. Trans adults should be able to give informed consent. In 99% of cases this will be the right decision, in the less than 1% of cases it isn’t they should be given support. Something much easier to give in an affirmative healthcare model incidentally

The "gender critical" movement are not appealing their loss in their fight to stop the puberty blocker trial. The "irreversible harm" James is talking about here is people being trans. That's it. Helen Joyce said it clearly, even if trans people say they are happy they consider them to be "harmed."
