While other parties abandon environmentalism , Liberal Democrats remain committed to the fight. Our message is clear: if you care about protecting Britain’s nature, we’ll offer you a better deal than anyone else.

Quote from Tim Farron on a green grassy background which reads:

Liberal Democrats are leading the way to protect Britain’s nature and green spaces.

We have led the fight in Parliament to tackle the scandal of sewage being dumped in our lakes
and rivers, fought for
better protections for designated sites, and
we are the only party backing our farmers to be given the support they need to maintain our precious landscapes across the country.

35°C in May 🤯 It has never been this hot this early in the year, ever. The climate has changed and it's not going to go back to normal anytime soon. People are already dying in heatwaves across Europe, yet Reform are busy scrapping climate targets and pretending this crisis isn’t happening.

We won every seat on Richmond upon Thames Council last week. But that doesn’t mean we’ve changed our mind on electoral reform. It’s time the Government stopped defending a broken system out of self-interest and backed proportional representation.

We are the only non-populist party left standing. We are the only party that can defeat Reform. Join us, and fight to build our country up rather than tear it all down. 🔶🇬🇧

Strip away Farage's insults and outrage and there's nothing there but a desperation to turn the UK into his version of Trump's America. We will talk Britain up, not down, because we know how special our country can be.

Munira Wilson, the Liberal Democrats’ education, children and families spokesperson, said: “The government’s failure to commit to a ban on harmful social media is simply not good enough – families need concrete assurances now. www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2026...

If Reform had won, Labour's statement would be that this result is a stark reminder we need to listen and learn from voters who rightly feel betrayed by modern politics. But the Greens won by a comfortable margin, so it's: these voters are stupid and also sinister and, ugh, Muslims

Yeah, having now slept on it properly, it is weird that no losing parties statement really reckons with why people might have chosen the Greens and instead they all chose to blame sectarianism. It does suggest that they still don't really recognise people who vote Green as, you know, real people.

🎉🎉🎉I’m absolutely delighted to see Hannah Spencer and the Green Party win in Gorton and Denton last night! I obviously would've preferred a Liberal Democrat but as we've never had a presence in the constituency and I'm thrilled to see a fellow progressive party do so well.
