I'm a pretty hard-line socialist but would have settled for the mild social democracy on offer from Labour between 15-19 despite not liking Corbyn or the Labour party, cos I'm not a dick and understand I'm not going to get exactly what I want. The governing class burned down the UK to prevent this.

Noone can successfully govern Britain anymore. Were a nation with unrealistic expectations, a lack of gratitude and we complain about almost everything. Too many ask what the country does for them and not what we should do for it and for eachother. Whoever becomes PM is destined to disappoint.

Crazy how Polanski can come out with stuff that in any decent society would be regarded as "the bare minimum", and it feels like he's being politically adventurous.
