Fantastic afternoon filming my latest episode of the Twinkl 'Leading With' podcast with Cath Moore and Philip Chaffe from MEI and Matthew Lucas from @ucl.ac.uk about their project focusing on engaging Y10 pupils with university whilst raising maths attainment. Cannot wait for this one to come out!
In #mathstoday I showed my students what a 95% confidence interval actually means by using Excel and taking 100 random samples and seeing that the population mean was only within the interval 95% of the time.
Today the inestimable @studymaths.bsky.social led our student teachers on a fab day of insights. It was so good! Including prime factorisation, ratio tables, task design, completion tables and #blankisbest. Wonderful stuff! Thanks Jonny 😁
