When it comes to future sea-level rise, Antarctica matters. Now researchers who looked at hundreds of thousands of potential emissions futures and the impact of each on the ice sheet found that Antarctica’s ice loss this century is locked in. theconversation.com/antarcticas-...

A new paper from our group/my boss is out in Science today! It looks at the effects of massive, snowball-earth type glaciers on subsurface geotherms and thermochronology. If you are going to GSA Becky is giving a talk on this work as well. www.science.org/doi/10.1126/...

Women are half the population, and yet the majority of physicians have NO training on how to treat women with menopause. I talked to Dr. Rachel Rubin and Dr. Kelly Casperson about how women are demanding better, and why Congress should PASS my bill to invest in menopause research & training.

"On Monday, I can take a Zoom call from a Mexico City Airbnb that used to be a family’s house, and on Tuesday, I can send an email from a short-term rental in Bali that was once a women’s shelter. I bill my employer for the time I spend on my Instagram." buff.ly/CsWhmEy

Cool, cool. Cue everyone who feels morally superior because a) they have never been in this situation, and b) they certainly wouldn’t handle it in a way that others might learn something from. BTW when I was 16 I was ALWAYS enumerating the ways my parents fucked up my life. That’s 16 for you .
