To the extent there are problems with The System, they’re largely (1) poor people suffer, (2) women suffer, and (3) people of color suffer. These are all things RFK likes about The System. To give him credit for “shaking things up” is to out yourself as either a eugenicist or a dumbfuck. Or both.

You actually don't have to do the "well, you know, I disagree with MAHA but they're right that there are real problems with The System" thing. That's a concession you absolutely do not have to make.

Remember a major reason for the hatred against Haitian immigrants in Ohio was that they were actually doing the manufacturing jobs and showing up to work consistently unlike the local white trash who quit as soon as they get some beer money. www.salon.com/2024/09/30/s...

"We have a generation of rabid, incompetent idiots" is a great campaign slogan for the GOP. It's both accurate, and catchy. I can already picture the red, white and blue bumper sticker and lawn signs.

Kinda what makes the *visual* stuff you can see all the more surreal tbh. See, Trump’s right sided facial droop and how it’s showed up in public last September and reappears most prominently when he’s tired or stressed. Nothing To See Here

Trump when he signed the MOU of Versailles, again note the right sided facial weakness. His smile line is not symmetrical. Same signing at the MOU of Versailles. Look at (his) right side of his face. Flattening in the smile line. 9/11 2025 memorial with Trump sleepy and with facial weakness. 9/11 2025 memorial with Trump sleepy and with facial weakness.

I find interesting but not surprising that Trump's actual health is a black box in his inner circle. There's maybe like 5 people who know what's actually going on, and none of them are talking.

It is genuinely bizarre that we’ve become acclimatized to right wingers throwing a tantrum every time a black person (particularly a black woman) is cast in something, but are also supposed to pretend that this is not racism but related to some other substantive concern.

Donald Trump still has absolutely no idea what he was trying to do, how he was going to do it, why he wasn't able to do it, or what he's going to do next to try to fix what he has no idea he broke. He's a delusional, crackbrained, and deranged moron. It's just that simple.

Breaking News: President Trump has set aside, at least for now, plans to sharply escalate the American military assault against Iran.

When you hear people say "I Stand with Israel. Period." They are telling you they support the genocide in Gaza, the brutal attacks by the Israeli settlers to drive Christians and Muslims from the West Bank--backed by Netanyahu regime--to make it all Jewish only like the settlements currently are.

We all see the footage of Israeli settlers attacking Christians and Muslims. From The videos of the brutal attack on Christian nuns by Jewish extremists to killing Palestinians in West Bank. The right wing pro-Israel activists see that as well but hey are silent. That's because they agree with it.

I think the Board is right in this 🧵 and my only worry is how badly will the GOP wreck everything before they can be voted out? As Lincoln said to their ideological ancestors: “…you will rule or ruin in all events.” It’s a Confederate mindset; and as such it’s capable of crimes against humanity.

1. It could be "the end days" for the Republican Party. That's how Jake Sherman put it when the co-founder of Punchbowl News shared the latest by the Emerson College Polling Center. x.com/JakeSherman/...

Book Review: In The Anatomy of Fascism by Robert Paxton, the author suggests that previous attempts to define fascism have focused too narrowly on ideology and not enough on political strategies and broader social circumstances. This book is excellent. Let's summarize🧵
