I actually disagree this is even minor anymore. It’s millions of dollars of graft and corruption and they’re about to start railroading random citizens through the justice system with who knows what charges to cover it up. This would have been a major scandal ten years ago.

The Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool debacle is minor compared to everything else going on. Yet it’s symbolic of Trump’s and MAGA’s broader failures. Their central conceit is that they can govern better than the “establishment.” But Trump turned a simple pool renovation into a corrupt fiasco.

I think the time to learn Trump so often steals objects from his wife's bedroom that staff have to take photos of everything she owns to replace them before she finds out & also check the president of the United States' bedroom trash cuz he throws out the sliver is when journos first heard about it
