Honestly it’s pretty fucking crazy what David Lynch was putting on the board when he directed an episode of Twin Peaks. I think my biggest issue with the original run is that he’s on an entirely different wavelength than his collaborators, who are doing great and often groundbreaking stuff.

I think the reason I’ve never really gotten into last action hero is that it’s the director of die hard and the star of to that point at least seven or eight truly great action films teaming up to make a movie where action movies suck and liking them makes you a loser.

it’s not possible to ask questions “in good faith” when the stakes of the question are eradicating a group of people from existence, fear and discomfort over the unknown is not justification for persecuting a minority, this is all very simple, established stuff
