Most traditionally published cookbook authors have to pay for their photoshoots out of their advance, which publishers have strict control over, many end up paying more out of pocket than they earned in advance, and most cookbooks never earn out.

Matthew is an excellent chef and well versed in a compassionate approach to eating sensitivities. He is also very bloody nice but got locked out of his account The only thing bad about Matthew's account is I don't get to eat all the delicious food he posts

I’m hoping @support.bsky.team will be able to help me regain access to my main account. I’ve sent an email. Losing almost 9k followers is devastating and I’m having a hard time finding the motivation to skeet when I lost years of building my account (my main way of promoting myself as an author).
