I hate doing the "a rollback of trans rights is the gateway for a rollback of women's rights" thing because trans rights are human rights in and of themselves, whatever the impact on cis women. But goddamn I wish more cis women had a sense of history and self preservation.

Today is my birthday! 🎉 as ritual I'll share my artworks here and I'd really appreciate shares to help me reach more people 💗 This year I have many things I'd like to achieve, I want to paint more book covers and illustrations, and maybe one day getting the chance to paint for Magic the Gathering 🫶🏻

"The great hunt". Illustration piece I did for Paul Scott Canavan's mentorship. It represents an haunt scene, the hunter is mounting a big white tiger with piercing white eyes -sign that she's blind- which is roaring as she's sprinting through the action. The hunter has heavy clothing on, inspired by the Mongolian and Slavic clothing. He has long black hair moved by the wind, and he's holding a sword in his hand, ready to defend his wood. The environment is a snowy wood, old trees and branches all around the scene, as the white snow covers them. The sun is setting, and the overall atmosphere looks pinkish, lightened by the lights of the time of the day. It’s very simple and it’s been said over and over but I guess it needs saying continuously: if you deem one group too small to have equal rights you are enabling fascism, not fighting it. The people saying Dems are GREAT on trans rights are not paying attention and/or saying stuff like this.

I loved eating Chik-Fil-A. Can't remember the last time I ate there. I used to go to Hobby Lobby weekly. Haven't walked into one in over a decade. I enjoyed Harry Potter, past tense. My life is not wanting of joy without these things the way it would be without all my LGBTQIA+ friends. Choose love.
