Finally got around to watching the Avatar Aang movie. It was aggressively adequate. Gorgeous animation, cool fights, nice to see the Gaang again, but the story was pretty whatever and the dialogue felt clunky. Not as funny as Avatar usually is, either Kinda feels like ATLA was lightning in a bottle

Spider-Man BND: starts out a bit rough, but really comes together in the second half. Spidey/Punisher/MJ scenes are the highlight. Fun time. Unfortunately I’m really over the MCU lighting/shooting style. Incredibly distracting throughout how flat and dull it looks.
Been slowly rereading my DB manga volumes and no matter how many time I've read this part, I still get chills on the final fight of Goku vs. Daimao. Toriyama was just in beast mode at this point, casually drawing the coolest shit you've ever seen on the page.
