Things I’ve been made aware of: Watanare’s anime scriptwriter, Naruhisa Arakawa, is also known for writing Kamen Rider Kuuga. During production, he told Watanare’s author that he loved yuri and hoped that the show would lead to him working on more yuri. So yeah, Kuuga is a defender of the lesbians.

Looks like Arakawa/Kuuga's writer really is writing for My-th. Here's hoping his call for "please let me write more yuri" after writing Watanare's anime scripts finally gets answered. 🙏

anime fans yearn for the hobbyani. they crave a journey of slow, yet tangible character development culminating in a finale that brings together every friend we made along the way to prove that the bonds we build can overcome any obstacle, that those innocuous days we share add up to something real.

A concise 12-13 episodes doesn’t give you any time for the baseball episode. An anime TV series is not complete without a baseball episode. We’ve got to do something about this
