As the biggest fan of X-Force volume one that exists, yes this is all correct.

Hasbro has been outsourcing the rights to make RPG's based on their own trademarks (G.I. Joe, Transformers, MLP) for years now which is rather strange when the largest RPG company in the world is also owned by Hasbro. But they keep failing to monetize RPG's the way they want, I guess.

I have unlocked the following headcanon: Because X-Force is usually packed with young people Cable is the one who cooks for the team and makes sure everyone gets a nutritious meal in them before a mission. You can't carry a giant gun around and blast Purifiers if you subsist only on McDonalds.
Rest in Peace Mitch Byrd Mitch was probably mostly known by comics fans for drawing Guy Gardner in his "Warrior" phase, but he always preferred drawing dinosaurs. He was a super-talented, super-nice guy.
I picked this up today from a place in Stockholm I only visit rarely. DC Super Stars #17, the first (actual) appearance of Helena Wayne as the Huntress. Very crisp for its age, some yellowing to the interior pages but that is to be expected. This was one 70's JSA issue I never thought I'd own.

Good thread. I've realized that my preferred take for "What If?" these days is these series that bring an old creative team back and let them continue as if they never left. That's the way to modernize the concept now that all the outrageous stuff has already been done as a crossover or something

Hello everyone. It's been a LONG time since I did this but with the build-up towards SDCC I feel this is a good time. I'll be doing some 30-minute character sketches this weekend. Only one character request per poster, please. I'll pick and choose according to my eclectic taste. Samples below:
With each of the "versus" trilogy you're left asking yourself "is this the worst one?" And it's a trick question because they're all the worst one, just for different reasons. Joking aside, this is the least bad one out of the three, which means it's still not good but nowhere near AvX.
