This weekend I picked blackberries in the warm summer sun and then the next day I put them on Greek yogurt with a lemon sugar basil sauce and y’all i recommend this experience
I have a chair set up next to my pots, so every morning I have coffee outside and then lean over and pick my daily zucchini without getting up and it feels so luxurious

Higher ed just dissolved the largest community of writing teachers in the world. The annual conference had ~3500 attendees. The org had been in place since the 1940s, and they dissolved it without notifying the members, during summer, literally at 5pm on a Friday. I am SHOOKETH

i'm firmly of the belief that everyone should have a creative hobby. even if you aren't "good" at it. it keeps your critical thinking skills engaged, it reminds you that you're still capable of learning and growing and improving at things, it helps you connect to other people. you gotta make stuff!

It’s 10am and I’ve had a contractor here, made jam, messaged the contractor’s supervisor because the original guy fixed my drywall but broke my sink, weed whacked the yard, and reached out to my fuckin professional network because shit is going to get dark if I don’t get a job soon 😭
Lrp: I made this and it is a little too oniony because I don’t have parsley and threw in some fresh basil instead. But it’s still quite good with sourdough and tomorrow I will have it with fresh peas from the garden, which should put the flavor profile back where I want it TIL!
