I yelled this constantly on social media back then. In my world, the loudest voices pushing schools back open were the rich folks who were simultaneously going on ski trips and hitting the bars and throwing dinner parties.

My take on COVID "lockdowns" (really, state and local decisions in the face of a killer plague) is that yes they were bad for children and this is an additional reason why it was morally repugnant when huge segments of the population refused to help with social distancing. Shame on you all.

C’mon, that’s just not a serious position. Lots of teams could match a single move the Dodgers make, but at much higher risk. They need the prospects much more for future roster holes. They can’t afford to miss on a big FA signing. Dodgers can just absorb mistakes and keep spending to recover.
