If you're noticing nearly a decade old episodes of Spin-Off Doctors popping up in your podcast players, I'm in the process of restoring episodes lost in our transition from SoundCloud. Apologies if this causes any issues, should be caught up in the next day or so.

It is rather interesting to get notifications for a podcast I haven't listened to in a while. The spin-off doctors. I'm going to have to go back and re-listen to them cuz apparently they're re-popping up on my podcast app. @commandersterling.bsky.social @conradzimmerman.bsky.social

Following years of the general term "Artificial Intelligence" being used to sell the public on plagiarism machines, it's pretty fucking rich whenever people pull the "but what about autocorrect" card. You know what you're doing, you pricks. Stop gaslighting people with better things to think about.

AI proponents have the mistaken impression that people will like a piece of slop and realize that they actually like AI when they find out it's slop. These are people so foolish they must have never once realized they've been lied to and know how people generally respond to that.

I think Google Photos has finally figured out that my cat Ramses has died, as it's offered to stop showing me the last photo of him I took the day before his passing. Only took four years. Tell me again how smart our technology is.

Enjoying a cup of coffee while casually browsing listings for undeveloped land as the implications for growing awareness of dead internet theory leading to scenarios where any perceived critical engagement with an idea is assumed to be a bot unfurl in my mind.

I am skeptical that Ford laying off 5,300 workers then hiring or rehiring 350 engineers to work across their departments and augmenting AI is some sort of labor win.

With the state of game dev in 2026, Poncle has a unique position as the premier developer in a genre highly sought for exploitation by major publishers. They may not *need* Epic, but that doesn't mean it's simple to turn down relatively easy money in favor of principles. Good on them.

Poncle - "Following today's news about gen AI usage by Epic to create all sort of game assets, including Fortnite characters, we're currently "reviewing" our collaboration with Fortnite. We'll let you know if anything moves forward."

When the robocall asked if I "recalled" a prior attempt to rope me into a scam, I replied, "No, I do not recall a time you've tried to rope me into a Medicare scam." Then the robot told me it was adding me to a do not call list and I'm pretty sure it just misheard me use its own language.

Every time I remember that any opinion I could have on Graham Platner is of absolutely zero consequence because I am not a resident of Maine and do not know people in Maine who could be influenced by an opinion of mine and therefore I never have to express one, I feel a little bit lighter.
