It’s crazy that they were so institutionally committed to not feeding detainees that they didn’t even have infrastructure to do it. It’s not accidental or incompetent, it’s just the plan.

So I broadly agree with all the “No Kings” protesters critiques of the current administration. Protest is a tool to put the powerful on notice as you what your demands are, and what the consequences will be if they are not met. Not a fan of protests with permits and police escorts politely begging

Hey dont’t mind me, I’m just deconstructing Iraq war propaganda I remember from my childhood. That whole thing about “Sadaam Hussein made like 20 guys get plastic surgery to look just like him” was fake right? Like that’s an insane thing that they just said on TV a lot in 2003?

My theory is that "working class white people solve a murder with the help of big-city cop/journalist" shows only exist so British actors can learn interesting American accents. Every time I watch one of these shows its Mid-Atlantic-Mushmouth/Cajun/New-England (the weird accents) starring 4 Brits
