@flushes.app was one of the first examples of a totally unique ATproto app that was clearly built for fun. And a good protocol encourages people to create fun toys. I missed this but 3 days ago Wiki Workers United US demanded recognition from Wikimedia! This is another huge step in their unionization efforts after the UK branch sought recognition a month ago. And the union is now on Bluesky, go check them out here @wikiworkersunited.org

If PERSEPOLIS is your only exposure to Marjane Satrapi, I recommend doing a deep dive into her other comics. When I finished library school and was unemployed for months, that was a project I took on and it was well, well worth it. She also put out a collection in 2024, WOMEN LIFE FREEDOM.
