You should hang your heads in shame for producing guidance which is practically unworkable, intrusive and discriminatory, which does nothing to improve the safety of cis women, while making the lives of trans and gender non-conforming people considerably less comfortable and potentially dangerous.

And that’s not including the fact that I have to watch as a gay man our country collapsing as a home for queer people because of your fucking ignorance and pandering to the far right. These actions make a mockery of the name of your organization. I repeat, you should be ashamed of yourself.

The guidance is unworkable, built on lies and favors the alleged “comfort” of a minority of women over the material rights of a vulnerable group. Fucking appalling, and the way the Labour government has pandered to this ignorance is precisely why I won’t vote for them.

I think it's linked to TERFs absolute refusal to recognise intersectionality. To them beard = man = ultimate societal privilege and there's no exceptions to that. To them my beard erases my experiences and lack of privilege as a queer person.

A big one for anywhere actively enforcing it is how they are planning to a) 'know' and b) log someone's "birth sex", given that you can't tell by looking/hearing, asking someone in a public space could constitute a breach of someone's right to privacy, and sex is special category data under GDPR.

EHRC Code of Practice comes into effect today so remember to be an absolute pain in the arse to any service provider who is trying to actively enforce it.
