The fact that no one in the publishing world picked this up is stark proof that publishers don't understand what makes games special and everyone involved probably grew up solely playing games advertised on the side of a bus and nothing else. There is something very wrong that needs to be fixed.

Sometimes I wonder if Minecraft is the single most popular game in history due to the fact that Mojang are deathly terrified of fundamentally trying to fix some of its glaring issues, or if its in spite of that. The game has changed so little in the past 6 years despite the budget.
