I saw The Odyssey in IMAX with my 16 year old who knows too much of Greek mythology to love Nolan’s interpretation, though it has made an impression. Interesting reflections here.

NSCC was affected by the Houston government’s recent budget cuts, the college’s answer to the deficit from these funding losses was to cut jobs. Yesterday, myself and all my librarian colleagues found out that we were losing our jobs, that there would no longer be librarians at NSCC campuses.
