"I was so upset! This was 1993 – I couldn’t believe what I was hearing! “Empty the trash.” Think about it! What if, instead of “trash”, you substituted “white people”? How would that sound, huh? “Empty the white people”. Would anyone say that?"

Like Thunder, Israel also took property from an established people, and claims a deep history belied by its recent founding.

I say without hyperbole that this is the most brazenly corrupt action in US Presidential history. That it does not immediately lead to impeachment is a dangerous sign of how far the rule of law has declined.

i'd love to recommend this place to everybody but i genuinely don't know what it's called or even exactly where it is. it's on stark on the north side between like 140th and 150th. turn into the big muddy field at the sign advertising collard greens

I think this story is a really good example for people to look at when it comes to understanding bias at NYT. It's not that the reporter, Dana Rubinstein, says anything outright false. But the framing, word choices, etc., add up to an unprofessional and biased account.

Is the premise of this story that the mayor should make lighthearted video content about an ongoing criminal investigation www.nytimes.com/2026/03/09/n...

Ryan Sloan (#27 Prospect) made his debut! Sloan's calling card in his first pro season was his pinpoint command and strong breaking balls. Now he is dialing up his fastball to the upper 90s and flashed a wicked changeup. He has future #1 Pitching Prospect written all over him!

Thing is we don’t have any fucking public restrooms and refuse to offer people healthcare for any mental issues outside of jails or prison, so yeah you have every right to be upset about something like this happening, but you have to understand *why* it happens.

American leftism will never achieve power if the response to getting peed on while taking public transit is “toughen up” public spaces should be safe and pleasant, and that shouldn’t be a hot take

i've been on the subway with homeless people that peed, screamed, all sorts of stuff. it was mildly uncomfortable but truly didn't impact my day in any way. maybe your husband needs to toughen up
daniela @daniela_127•3d
My husband was on a crowded train yesterday when a homeless woman got on, pulled down her pants, and peed all over the train in front of everyone. He hasn't stopped talking about it for the past 24+ hrs. It is the single most traumatizing thing that's happened to hi...

Right now, Democrats have the power to defund and abolish ICE. We should do it. This is about right and wrong—and the murder we are seeing on the streets is just plain wrong. Anyone who supports funding DHS and ICE is supporting the murder of Americans. We can stop this.

In solidarity with today's ICE OUT OF MINNESOTA blackout, MinnMax is donating $1 to the Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota for every share of this Bluesky post for the next hour.
