I run a website that from its remit literally can't cover GTA, certainly not in depth, so when I see folk saying it's impossible to not put every resource into it I do roll my eyes a bit. It's possible if your business is built carefully to not be fragile to the whims of the single biggest game

All these people talking of "switching to linux" and needing to learn how to do things in linux and at the same time saying windows "just works" have severe stockholm syndrome. Windows has more issues/annoyances than linux at this point. Use the brainpower you have left to learn something new

Gamers: ”I’m convinced this person didn’t play the game” Also Gamers: “I only read the free headline or intro paragraph of an entire paywalled article” Gamers: “Games criticism is dead/sucks now” Also Gamers: “You can’t critique a game I like rrreeeee”

And while I dislike the ziplines from the middle point on Wake Island, seeing everyone start on the carrier and going on the zipline is comical. I wonder why they did it like that. Many empty gunboats being left behind

Carrier strike mode is a new limited time event (1 month) in BF6 and available on one map (Tsuru Reef), not available on the new Wake Island map the same update ships with. The mode is fantastic and it being time limited and not also being on the only other naval map (Wake Island) is insane.

"Indies will save us" No! YOU WILL SAVE INDIES! Go leave a review for that neat indie game you like, share the trailer for an upcoming game you're anticipating, tell your fave developer they did a good job, go tell people about such and such game that's just come out, you can make a difference!

tech ceos love to talk like it's impossible to know what the computer will do at any given time as if that's smart and powerful and amazing. the determinism was like, the best part of the computer though. removing the determinism is the opposite of smart. it's stupid
