@moderation.bsky.app why not prevent new users from creating moderation lists and starter packs and such within the first hours of account creation? This edgelord cyberstalker keeps creating 3-5 throwaway accounts, adding people they want to harass to lists, and then you ban like 2. Fix it!

I had a lot of complaints about assigning too much work, expecting them to "write every day" and stuff, when I was asking for like 150-200 word discussion posts once a week plus some prewriting for longer essays. The struggle is real for them; they're addicts.
John Warner@biblioracle.bsky.social · 5mo agoWhen FYW students told me it took them 3-5 hours to write a draft of a 750 word piece, I had them track interruptions from their phones and some said they had more than 60 notifications per hour. I let them draw their own conclusions on what to do after these observations. Only some chose silencing.
@support.bsky.team there’s some leet hax0r deluded edgelord who keeps adding me to lists via bot accounts. They are clearly a malicious actor and have had numerous accounts shut down. Several were restored. I am apparently being targeted by association with some other accounts. Make it stop!
This weather stinks. It's too cold and miserable to go out and raise hell against the imperialists, so I think I'll be staying in and watching Boondock Saints or something. I can't afford to get sick from being out shivering in crowds. Slainte!

Actually, Americans are just like you. ~20-30% of them genuinely support fascism, as in ~every 🇪🇺 country. You are just more fortunate to have political institutions & a multiparty system that prevent that 20-30% from fully capturing the center-right party, becoming 51%, & controlling the government.
