I feel like I'm lost in the open sea most of the time these days. I'm not sure which way to go to reach shore anymore, and if I swim blindly, I'll just drown. So I tread water as long as I can, and hope against hope for a rescue I'm not sure is coming. I hate it.

My kitties are normally very good girls, but today at the vet they were far too anxious to get their nails trimmed. It was an ordeal just to get them their rabies vaccines. We're all home now and they're hiding. I'll just have to try again another time and endure the occasional scratch until then.
I think you had to be very online at a time when most people weren't to know that the bush administration was comically evil to the extent that it was, but for those of you who weren't: trust us! these were stupid evil people, not so different from the current ones!
