Incredible nonsense from John Cornyn. True, the harm to Epstein’s victims can’t be remedied by a “no” vote. But why should Blanche’s corrupt cover-up of the Epstein files—in violation of a Congressional mandate(!)—be rewarded by “yes”? Can’t get any more craven than this.

Cornyn justifies his support for Blanche: "That's one of those things that can't be remedied by a 'no' vote"

BREAKING: The New Mexico Department of Justice has sued Acting AG Todd Blanche and the DOJ, requesting the court for access to unredacted Epstein-related investigative files that the DOJ has been withholding.

A paramilitary group plotted to overthrow the Constitution then conducted a violent attack on America. They were convicted in court of seditious conspiracy, and jailed. Then the leader they aimed to illegally install got power and let them out, their records wiped clean. The Jan. 6 attackers won.

Judge Pained as He Grants Dismissal of Jan. 6 Charges Against Oath Keepers

The judge, Amit P. Mehta, blasted the administration’s request for a dismissal in the case, saying it bestowed “unearned grace” on the Oath Keepers defendants “by wiping their records clean.”

BREAKING: Sen. Dick Durbin accuses Todd Blanche of lying under oath. He says Blanche told him in his office — with witnesses — that the slush fund was a mistake. In his confirmation hearing, Blanche denied that remark.

Whitehouse: "Today I think is a sad and embarrassing day for this committee as it looks like on a party-line vote we are going to advance out of this committee probably the most discreditable person ever to seek the office of attorney general. Let's start with the Epstein files ... "

The gaslighting is off the charts with this one. Every word is a lie. His actual approval rating is the second worst in modern presidential history, behind only Nixon’s 24% just before he resigned.

I mean this in all seriousness, this is a severely mentally ill & delusional person who not only should be removed from office under the 25th amendment, but he should be in a psych ward. This is pure insanity on so many levels. He lives in a fantasy world. He is unwell & has lost touch with reality.

it’s pretty obvious that a lot of people remember that COVID lockdowns were unpleasant and from there just extrapolate that they were therefore bad policy

Cowards. The agreement still immunizes Trump and his kids from IRS audits and any other government action for financial crimes they committed prior to this year. The only "limitation" is that it doesn't also immunize anyone and everyone else with whom they associate.

John Cornyn & Thom Tillis issue a joint statement announcing they will support Todd Blanche for AG. He's now in good position to clear the Judiciary Committee tomorrow and head to the full Senate.

Censure is an inconsequential slap on the wrist. This sort of thing would be a firing offense anywhere else, the equivalent of which would be expulsion. And even if you say it's a higher bar because he's elected and all, they could also impose hefty fines at least.

The committee is now recommending that the House adopt its report and "with it, a censure of Representative Edwards for the conduct described therein. The Committee intends to bring a privileged resolution for consideration and vote by the full House."

My entire life I’ve never called it the FIFA World Cup. I’ve always called it the World Cup. Fans don’t give a shit about FIFA. If national teams showed up for a World Cup tournament not held by FIFA we would all watch it. World Cup is the brand. FIFA is nothing.

Considering how badly Covid was mishandled, they're probably going to regret the decision to make Fauci's personal diary and journal public. We're going to see how it was handled from the insider, from Fauci's point of view... based on you know...science.
