I understand the need for urgency in terms of government procurement today, but not at the expense of our children's tomorrow. I hope the details are ironed out, and the messaging has become confused - Net Zero and environmental protections are more important than ever, just look out the window.

While fires rage in large parts of Europe incl UK, farmers face crop failure and livestock loss, every RefUK or Tory politician on the news must be challenged on their "let's do away with costly net zero nonsense" stance, side-by-side with live images of the cost of inaction. Expose the charlatans.

If Burnham really is going to launch the National Care Service next week then I take my hat off to him. He will have to pay for it of course but we are duty bound to fix this issue and no PM has even tried to in last 20 years.
Burnham is everywhere on the socials. And I mean everywhere. This is good. I know that many still aren't over losing Keir Starmer, and that is your prerogative, but the fact that Burnham is gaining traction is good for the Labour Party and the country if we want to beat Reform.
