Another reminder to creatives to be extra careful with...I don't know what to call it..."industry phishing"? Beyond the massive increase in tedious Ai spam/phishing pointed at creatives, I've gotten 3 agent/publisher phishing emails lately. All from suspect addresses. Heads on swivels, kids.

I ran an absolutely 100% human, zero AI-involvement at any stage passage of my writing through an "AI detector," curious if it could really tell human from AI work, and it said my own writing was "84% AI written" then asked I wanted to pay to have it "humanized." So there's that to keep in mind.

Woke up, got my coffee, and read this: "Manziel made his MMA debut on Saturday night at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas and defeated social media influencer Bob Menery by first-round TKO." Pretty sure I am done for the day.

One of the foundational principles behind SOLRAD is that comics are art and that, as such, the medium deserves the same access to venues, discourse, and educational opportunities as any other art form. 1/4

hmmmmm... that seems like a problem to me.

I am humbled and proud to publish all the critics and cartoonists who make SOLRAD what it is. This third Eisner nomination would not be possible without their talent, intelligence, insights, and, quite frankly, patience (with me as their editor).
