With the caveat that it's only been 9 days of Mayor Zohran, those on the left who said that we shouldn't seek executive power have been proven conclusively wrong.
Dem leadership seems to think that measured statements make them look like the adults in the room, but really it makes them look like idiot cowards.
For this take to make sense, you have to see banning Trans care to minors as compatible with liberalism, and not an authoritarian move to target some of the most vulnerable people in this country.
