the scope of these layoffs feels so overwhelming—that's 1,600 people whose lives are instantly changed and thrown into chaos. i think about how getting laid off impacted my life, then times that by 1,600... it's hard to comprehend.

i’m finally back in seattle after 43 days in italy + 4 days in california! my mom is doing relatively well all things considered, and her doctors are all taking her condition very seriously which is a huge relief! once i recover from jetlag i will revisit my beloved video games….
