As someone working in low-level IT, it continues to baffle me how the most influential people in my industry know how fickle and volatile computers are, yet still get all Surprised Pikachu Face the moment an AI goes rogue and excuse it with 'it wasn't supposed to do that!'

I get the idea of what's being discussed, but I *do* feel it both obfuscates the game's mechanics to newer players and those who aren't in the wider online meta discussions, and self-sabotage experienced players with appeals to ultimately arbitrary psychology that makes the game less efficient.
