Very sad to learn that Biruté Galdikas, world-renowned orangutan researcher, has died. With Jane Goodall (chimps) and Dian Fossey (gorillas) she was one of the Leakey “Trimates,”studying the great apes in the wild. She became a tireless advocate for orangutans and their habitat. #nopalmoil
