I'm heading to Rebel Scum Con in Texas this weekend, with swag so obscure it requires an explanation....

FCC filings indicate that we're going to be getting interactive creatures including Grogu, a Huttlet, and a Baby Ewok in the parks. (There was also a filing for a new hilt, which is unusual — each Legacy release does not require a new approval — meaning either a new set or a full Savi's refresh.)
Hopped over to Outpost 77 this weekend for a quick visit, and spotted a few familiar faces....
The Cosbi Logray bag plush has his crystal image spinner from Caravan of Courage & the Ewoks cartoon series!
Nobody informed me that the shuttle from Starcruiser makes an appearance in the updated Smugglers Run:
The Mandalorian deserves more than being a retcon overlay slapped on top of an existing concept, and the Millennium Falcon deserves to be more than a synergistic consolation proxy for the Razor Crest.
Mando feels tacked-on. Could have easily done the same game where it starts on Batuu (with no real need to go to Tatooine right away), and then chased one of the three from there. Coruscant is my favorite, and I think has the most action and interesting visuals, but all three are unique and solid.
The "Red Jammer" Y-Wing in Mando & Grogu isn't just a reference to the unfinished model created for Star Wars in 1977.... It's literally that model, shot on a motion control rig. Restored by John Goodson for the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art, George gave permission for it to be used in the film.
Just the other day I mentioned to my wife, "there's a masseuse in Star Wars who secretes truth serum out of his hands to get criminals to confess while massaging them." I always knew Lexo Sooger would return, but I never expected it to be in Supergirl. Anyway, read CANTO BIGHT, it's great.
In retrospect, the most remarkable thing about the backstory crafted for Galaxy's Edge is that it escaped WDI's befuddling addiction to acronyms.
BREAKING: Disney World has revealed the backstory for Monstropolis and why we're invited to visit the monster world - welcome to H.U.M.A.N. Day! FULL DETAILS: blogmickey.com/2026/06/mons...
What the people want: a Rotta fashion doll and an accessory pack with a mermaid tail.
Neither D-BOX nor 4DX rumbled the seats when the massage droids were on screen. Missed opportunity.
Imagine winning a Grammy for music you wrote for a theme park and then the theme park decides they want your old stuff you didn't write for them instead.
Happy Orthodox Star Wars Day! Here’s to all the artists that brought that universe to life, and inspired the rest of us who wanted to play in it…
This is how Jon Favreau’s own family story shaped The Mandalorian and Grogu. “He was a single dad and I lost my mom when I was young…” This conversation changed the way I looked at the bounty hunter and his little green son. #StarWars #Filmsky www.esquire.com/entertainmen...
'The Mandalorian and Grogu' Is the Perfect Star Wars Film for These Dark Times
Jon Favreau says he used the film to search his own feelings. How lucky we are for the results.

The only review you need to hear of The Mandalorian And The Grogu is this 10-year-old kid hyped about "Buff Stinky" and thinking the movie is too short while his dad tries to talk about matinee serials, Kurosawa, and the movie being too long. Bless you, @fullofsith.bsky.social.

I'd like to tell you how delightful the quests are in the expansive Navarro map surrounding Fortnite's Mandalorian watch party island, but they've disabled screenshots. Hopefully the Black Spire Outpost map they teased last year still manifests, with as much loving detail as they gave this.
It's not every day you stumble onto B-roll from Attack of the Clones that you've never seen before. George has some saber skills.
