I've been chuckling at the contrast in how folks are handling the bad air quality today: seeing folks driving convertibles with the top down during my morning commute, and me masking up to walk across campus for lunch.

After the crossover mission with Kassandra in AC Valhalla, followed by the multiple references to her in AC Shadows, it feels like Ubisoft knows that she's one of the best protagonists they've created (and of that era in videogames). Now, stop teasing us and give us a sequel to Odyssey. :-)

I received my “you’re officially old” vaccines last week via the first dose of shingrix and the pneumonia vaccine. Immune response hit hard. It feels like my immune system treats response options like the sliders for Humble Bundles: distributing intensity across fever, aches, fatigue, and chills.

Trying to apply Sileo to the “cheek pouch” of our Shiba is just as easy as most people would assume it to be. Hopefully I got enough in there to take effect before the sun sets and the fireworks start ramping up.

We have a mobile service appointment at the house for our vehicles today. It was an arrival window that started at 8AM, so I got up super early to get in my workout and shower in case they showed up at that time. This essentially guarantees that they'll arrive as late as possible.

Really looking forward to seeing what PlayStation and XBOX show off next week. This time of year, I can't help but feel excited & impatient to see what surprises the industry has in store for gaming fans. Almost like a childhood mini-Christmas morning experience, but for a much older version of me.
