How much warmer was summer 2026 than 1976 for the UK? Interesting differences between daytime (Tmax) and nighttime (Tmin). 2026 was much warmer than 1976, including in rural areas. (The only exception is daytime temperatures in Scotland.)

Today it’s exactly two months since I became a Councillor. People have contacted me from day 1, some asking me to pick up cases that were abandoned years ago and some with new cases. So far, I have raised 32 cases to the council, successfully solved 4, helped a community space reopen and gave hope!

I remember when the government suppressed that report on the impact of climate change a few months back. We still haven't seen it. We only saw the highlights and that was that it was essentially an existential crisis. It said it was the biggest threat we face. Fucking silence though.

Dear Labour supporters. If you want to put me off voting Green rather than Labour, the key is *not* to attack the Greens, but to ask yourself why I, a life-long Labour supporter, who has voted Labour at every GE since 1983 (my first), can't support Labour. Look at yourselves. Look at your party.
