I find Dr. Drew's arc interesting... I was an original "Loveline" listener on KROQ when he was first introduced, and the show was genuinely insightful and helpful (in terms of delivering important sexual health and addiction information,) and broke through with teens etc. 1/2

On April 7, 1976, "The Bad News Bears" landed in theatres. While loved, it's tragically underrated. Here's why, 50 years later, TBNB can take its rightful place as the greatest baseball movie ever made, and a film that stands toe-to-toe with the best films of the 1970s: #TheBadNewsBears50 1/37

The world may be going to hell, but it's time for some Skeet Surfin' on Showtime.
Listening to Sauer, and knowing Trump is sitting behind him, I'm thinking of Trading Places, with the Dukes trying to corner the Frozen Concentrated Orange Juice market and watching his commodities trader get trampled.

Not enough attention is being paid in L.A. to the 1/26 launch of Murdoch's "The California Post" which is HQ'd on the Fox lot. The hollowing out of the LA Times & local media, and the flabbiness in L.A.'s civic culture, has created a perfect storm of opportunity; Murdoch was sharp enough to see it.
Watching the original South Park movie from 1999, and damn if it doesn't get more relevant every year, never now so than now.

Caught a screening of "The Roses" last night. An interesting departure from the DeVito version; much less dark but the relationship is far more layered. My dark heart prefers the original but I get what this one is trying to do. Lightly recommend.
