Nigel Farage has sent an email to Reform UK supporters tonight saying “we don’t know whether there were any political motives” behind Ann Widdecombe’s murder. But police have already ruled that out, saying there was “no information” to suggest the murder was “politically motivated”.
Ann Widdecombe had a long life in politics. But she also managed to contribute a particularly large number of memes to the queer British consciousness, because she ultimately loved attention, and thus refused to stay off TV. So Ann, THIS is your legacy.
