I don't really have much of a desire to see this movie but I would watch a fake documentary from like 10 years after the law is repealed exploring all the ways it was a total failure on the order of prohibition.

I was a little worried about the new GiTS because the first episode threw a LOT of proper nouns out there even for me but I should have had faith because it settles down in episode 2 and Science SARU remains undefeated.
The problem with “the purge but for sex” is that it’s a silly idea that makes just enough sense that you have to work out the logistics. It’s gotta be something where people will just go “oh so it doesn’t matter” like there’s one day a year where the abstinence wizard is asleep or capitalism did it.
Instead of directly looking at election returns I'm just seeing which accounts are saying we need to support the nominee no matter who it is to tell who's winning in Michigan.
I actually tried very hard not to learn anything about the Michigan primary which is how I have seen a picture of Haley Stevens for the first time today and that's a "I'd vote for a woman but not that woman" woman. I do not have any opinion on if it's good or bad that she's doomed but she's doomed.
I think it's sad that neoliberal just means "I don't like this and It's probably best to assume I'm an idiot" now. I think it would have been a good word to have mean something about neoliberalism.

Bluesky is more interested in developing AT Protocol than pleasing its users because the only way anybody ever figured out to make money from having a lot of users on your microblogging site is to dare a rich fascist to overpay for it.
I know there are solid macroeconomic arguments why this might not work that very smart people I follow are convinced by but "you know how to spend your tax dollars better than the government does" is disproven by meeting an singular taxpayer.
