I’m in MPLS. For work I manage software products; for music I like electronics, hip hop, etc; I watch tv and movies; complain about politics; and I have a cat.

Me and my fellow millennials causally signing along (under our breath) to “Teenage Dirtbag” while hanging out at the donut shop on a Saturday morning.

Our July Bingo-rama continues tonight in our air-conditioned and air-purified social hall. $5 to play two cards for most of the evening to win prizes. (A few cash games cost extra). $5 also gets you a hot dog meal deal: dog, chips, FRESH cookie, lemonade. Cafe opens 5:30. Bingo 6:00-8:45.

Dude there IS life downtown. Even on a Sunday, people walking around, looking for shit to do after their show, club, etc. What’re they met with? “FOR LEASE”

I finally have something to contribute to the paper maps discourse! Someone just stopped me to ask me how to use the GPS on their phone. Does that count?

Imagine if the US makes it to the World Cup, and then the miraculously clumsy attempt at patriotism when the skydiver with the American flag in tow crashes to their death in the stands of the stadium.

I’ve noticed a few of our customers using clearly LLM generated emails to try to bully their way into discounts or cancelations, etc. The tone is always so adversarial. You get them on the phone and they’re entirely reasonable. I want to shake them… don’t let AI make you think I’m an asshole.

Minneapolis: who is working on the safety of the folks hanging out under 55 on Cedar? That’s not safe for anyone, but I don’t want to complain to the city cause we know they’re good for nothing.

Have you ever noticed mosquito bites flare back up and itch like hell before bed? Apparently it’s because of your circadian rhythm turning down your cortisol to prepare for sleep. Cortisol had been keeping the bites in check during the day. I just learned while scratching the flesh from my body.
