Not sure how many of you out there read older books. I'd like to recommend this one: Millennial Women (1978) Not only does it have intriguing stories (@ursulakleguin.com included novel was amazing) but I find these kinds of books to be interesting time capsules of an era)
I finished The Horror Challenge Collection by J.H. Glaze It was more a writing exercise, which isn't a bad thing. The stories will hit or miss depending on the reader. Otherwise, because of the short length of multiple stories, it's a fast read with enough entertainment and imagination on offer.
Favorite comic this week: Jessica Jones: Alias #5 by @samhumphries.bsky.social @geraldoborges.bsky.social @arthurhds.bsky.social and Cory Petit I enjoyed this series! Good job to all. The "I love you" conversation alone from this issue between JJ & TM was worth the price! 😀

Finished The Price of Safety by Michael Bland. I enjoyed this! It's tech-heavy without feeling like it loses the reader. The stakes feel real and relevant, positing a future of surveillance that seems too likely. Check it out! #scifi #scifinovel #dystopian #tech #technology

My favorite comic this week: Dark Knights of Steel II #1 by @tomtaylormade.bsky.social Otto Schmidt, Arif Prianto, and Wes Abbott The art rocks as does the story and the riveting, spoiler-free-here ending. Really sets the table for the next 11 meals. Good job to everyone involved! #comics
My favorite comic this week is Black Cat #12! From Josemaria Casanovas' excellent cover to the last panel that made me chuckle where she casually offers Frank his gun back. Have loved this entire run and @gwillow.me nails Felicia's character.
I'd like to address recent reviews of the original two books I ever did, now packaged as The Vet School Survivor Guides: From the Back Row and Vet Med Spread. They were both dismissed as "not practical" and "there are better options out there" and I couldn't understand 1/4 #vetschool #vetstudent
I thoroughly enjoyed reading, Taunting Gravity by Jessica Kaye, Author Sci-fi adventure with burgeoning romance and intrigue. Nice recipe for an easy read with likeable characters. Check it out! Next up in my indie authors is The Price of Safety by Michael Bland I'm looking forward to this! #scifi
Working on the sequel to my urban fantasy, The Half-Life of Grief. The tentative title is Cryptid Summer. I'm up to 51,000 words and suspect the ending is going to come swiftly. Very different format and approach in this book to the first and I'm enjoying the heck out of writing Maggie Dawson again.

One thing that the Supergirl movie has done for itself is to get EVERYONE talking about it! So, here is my take. I liked it. What more needs to be said? Milly Alcock nails this version of Supergirl and the pathos she's shouldering is earned. She is the reason this movie works. #supergirl

Thoroughly enjoyed reading Shatterscape by K.T. Steele. Great story! The main cat-like character, Brin, was fun to follow on her journey through a landscape of broken worlds in search of answers. And did I mention there are dragons too? Check it out!
